About the project

• We’re looking for a DevOps Engineer to join Sopra Steria Polska for a team that works for a client from banking sector in Belgium. You’ll take ownership of our CI/CD pipeline and development toolchain. This role is critical to streamlining our software delivery process and sits at the intersection of CloudOps and full-stack development teams.
• You’ll be responsible for configuring, maintaining, and administering CI/CD tools, proposing optimizations, and testing and implementing new technologies. If you thrive in fast-paced environments and enjoy bridging infrastructure and development, this role is for you.

Your responsibilities

• Configure, maintain, and administer CI/CD pipelines
• Propose and implement optimizations across the toolchain
• Test and integrate new technologies into the development workflow
• Collaborate with CloudOps and development teams to ensure seamless delivery
• Support automation and scheduling across environments

Our requirements

• Strong experience (min. 3 years) with Jenkins
• Proficiency with GitLab
• English proficiency at B2 level or higher
• Being open to occasional business trips abroad and visits in our office in Katowice

Optional

• Experience with Artifactory, ArgoCD, SonarQ/SonarCube, Azure DevOps
• Familiarity with Helm charts, Kubernetes, OpenShift, LoadBalancers
• Programming knowledge in Java, NodeJS, and Web development
• Hands-on experience with automation and scheduling tools like Ansible, Autosys, Airflow/Astronomer
