Your responsibilities

• Monitoring of technological assumptions in refinery production optimization process;
• Perform optimization process calculations using Aspen PIMS (linear programming system) as a part of supply chain planning processes;
• Verification of assumptions and PIMS solutions of the production plan submitted by the processing refinery in terms of the assumed production parameters e.g. Planned yields, Units utilization, Product quality parameters, Maintenance and turnaround activities;
• Monitoring allocation process, particularly in terms of allocated products, semi - products, units utilization and products blending
• Perform economic studies for specific production events (additional transfers, sales, purchase)
• Periodic audits of the LP model of the entire refinery in terms of the adequacy of structures and technological data

Our requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or a relevant advanced degree is preferred;
• Minimum 1 year of professional experience in oil and refinery industries;
• Theoretical familiarity with refinery plant configuration
• Experience in refinery optimizations with using Aspen PIMS or other software must have;
• Fluent English
• Strong analytical skills, problem solving skills with strong drive for results;
• Advanced knowledge of MS Excel;
• Knowledge of additional data analysis tools (e.g. Power BI) will be an asset;
• Effectiveness in identifying, diagnosing and solving process issues;
• Teamwork skills, Quality and results oriented;
