Your responsibilities

• Operate transactional processes for foreign payments on both incoming and outgoing sides.
• Collaborate with settlement institutions and international banks to ensure smooth payment flows.
• Monitor and validate the accuracy and timeliness of international transfers, identifying and resolving discrepancies.
• Perform reconciliations of fees and costs related to the processing of international transactions.
• Contribute to the design of internal procedures and functional enhancements for handling foreign payments.
• Participate in projects, system testing, and process documentation within the international settlement area.
• Issuing and managing letters of credit for international trade (import/export), and processing export bills for negotiation and collection.

Our requirements

• Solid knowledge of international payment systems (SWIFT / SEPA / Target), including operational and reconciliatory aspects.
• Solid knowledge of operational and reconciliatory aspects of international trade transactions, including Letters of Credit (L/C) and Guarantees.
• You are a self-starter, willing to learn and take part in starting of New Bank on polish market.
• Understanding of interbank settlement regulations.
• You speak fluent Polish and advanced English.
• You’re confident in MS Excel and other MS Office applications.
• Analytical mindset and ability to draw insights from operational data.
• Strong teamwork capabilities, excellent organizational skills, accuracy, and reliability.
• Ability to work independently, attention to detail, and commitment to personal development.

Optional

• Familiarity with SORBNET3, Elixir systems.
• Good understanding of trade finance rules and standards such as UCP 600, Incoterms, and ISBP.
• Experience in issuing and advising Letters of Credit and Bank Guarantees.
• Familiarity with SWIFT trade messages (e.g., MT7xx series) and handling of trade-related documentation.
• Understanding of AML/KYC processes in the context of reconciliations.
