Your responsibilities

• We are seeking a skilled and experienced, detail-oriented and reliable Accounts Payable Accountant to join our finance team. This role is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely processing of vendor invoices, employee expenses, maintaining compliance with internal controls, and supporting month-end closing activities.
• • Process and verify incoming invoices and employee expense reports
• • Ensure timely and accurate payments to vendors
• • Monitor and reconcile accounts payable transactions
• • Investigate and resolve invoice discrepancies and payment issues
• • Maintain vendor master data and ensure compliance with internal policies
• • Process and reimburse employee travel expenses
• • Assist with internal and external audits by providing required documentation
• • Support month-end and year-end closing procedures
• • Collaborate with other departments and vendors to ensure smooth payment operations
• • Continuously improve AP processes and contribute to automation initiatives
• • Collaborate with the Accounts Payable Team Lead to support the integration and implementation of new processes and tools within the AP function, ensuring smooth adoption and operational efficiency

Our requirements

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Proven experience in accounts payable
• Demonstrates exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in task execution and documentation management
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a team
• Proficiency in German or French at minimum B2 level
