Driving the supplier qualification/re-qualification process and ensure the supply base is and remain fully qualified and compliant
Ensuring compliance with ABB Supplier Code of Conduct, ethics & corporate governance, and sustainability goals.
Scheduling, monitoring and approving supplier production, products, materials, and project subcontractor service activities, as applicable
Operationally leading issue resolutions such as quality issues, late deliveries, non-conforming products, or project services. Manage root cause analysis, drive corrective actions incl. claim management
Quality documentation handling
Driving continuous improvements of supplier base capabilities and performance to ensure conformance with Customer and ABB requirements and the implementation of category strategy
Our requirements
3-5 years of experience and knowledge in the Quality profession
Strong knowledge of industrial manufacturing processes
Be able to present accreditations/ certification across the quality profession - Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt
Lean Manufacturing Certification, Total Quality Management Certification, Supplier qualification (ISO 9001, VDA 6.3, PPAP, APQP), Quality Management tools as VSM, DMAIC, Ishikawa, 5WHY, 8D`s, etc.
System & IT-Skills/ experience incl. SAP is a plus
Good/ strong language skill in English is a must
Ready to travel internationally when needed between factory/ ABB offices and supplier side
