Requirements description

We’re looking for aJava Developer to join the US-based team remotely! You will be contributing to the re-engineering of a global fixed-income trading platform used by the world’s leading financial institutions, central banks, hedge funds, and investment firms!

You must have recent, hands-on experience with Kafka and Oracle PL/SQL, and experience in designing and implementinghigh-throughput, low-latency, event-driven multithreaded applications!

❗️Working hours: due to the cooperation needs with US developers, the working hours start around 14:00 (CET time zone) in Poland!

Must-Haves:

• Good communication skills in English

• 5+ years of Core Java development experience

• Experience with Oracle, PL/SQL

• Experience with Kafka

• Experience building high-throughput, low-latency event-driven, multithreaded applications

• Deep understanding of large-scale distributed real-time systems architecture and implementations

• Strong knowledge of algorithms and data structures

• Broad exposure to at least one cloud platform: AWS (preferred), GCP, Azure

• Experience working with the Finance domain

Nice-to-Haves:

• Unix / Linux
• REST/websocket API and Docker
