Requirements description

YOUR PROFILE

• 2+ years of experience in data engineering with a strong focus on Microsoft Azure.
• Hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, and Azure Databricks.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and Python for data processing and transformation.
• Understanding of data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehousing best practices.
• Basic knowledge of data security principles, including RBAC and Azure AD authentication.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Nice-to-Have:

• Exposure to big data and streaming technologies (Apache Kafka, Event Hubs, Azure Stream Analytics).
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates.
• Industry experience in Financial Services, Automotive, Energy & Utilities, Tech, FMCG, or Pharma.

Your responsibilities

1. Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and architectures on Microsoft Azure.
2. Implement data integration solutions using Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, and Azure Databricks to ingest, process, and store data from diverse sources.
3. Optimize data workflows for performance and reliability using Azure Data Lake, Azure SQL Database, and Cosmos DB.
4. Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and stakeholders to ensure data availability, quality, and usability.
5. Implement data security best practices, including RBAC and Azure AD authentication.
6. Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines using Azure Monitor and Log Analytics.
