Requirements description

WE EXPECT FROM YOU

• 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in software product development
• Strong analytical thinking and proficiency in business analysis techniques and tools
• Hands-on experience with Agile development methodologies
• Proven success working in fast-paced, dynamic environments, initiating new projects and adapting to change
• Experience in managing and refining product requirements and backlogs
• Familiarity with AI-based products and related technologies
• Excellent documentation skills for user stories, workflows, use cases, and functional specifications
• Familiar with API documentation (Swagger, etc.)
• Experience working with various data sources and data structures Ability to manage solution scope, identify dependencies, and resolve conflicting requirements
• Proficiency in UML, Use Case diagrams, and User Flows
• Outstanding communication and stakeholder management skills
• Advanced English (both spoken and written)

WOULD BE A PLUS

• Experience working in startup environments
• Familiarity with security and compliance frameworks (e.g., SOC 2, HIPAA, GDPR)
• Background in cybersecurity or security-focused digital products

PROJECT

Our Customer is a US-based startup which is dedicated to transforming enterprise productivity through its highly-contextual, multimodal AI assistant. Designed as a Swiss Army knife for every employee, the AI assistant streamlines a wide array of daily workflows, encompassing everything from expense reporting and meeting coordination to efficient information retrieval and intelligent task automation. At the heart of the product is a commitment to enterprise-grade security.

We are looking for a Senior Business Analyst to help shape the future of a cutting-edge AI product with a strong security focus. In this role, you will work closely with the Product Management team, engineering teams, and stakeholders to translate high-level business needs into actionable user stories and detailed specifications.

You’ll be working on an ambitious, technically challenging project using a modern stack including MCP, Node.js, Next.js, Electron, AWS/GCP, Lambdas, and Rust. Your responsibilities

1. Collaborate with the founder, Product Manager and key stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements
2. Create and maintain documentation such as business requirements, functional specifications, and process flows
3. Transform business requirements into technical user-stories for development team, prioritize them, define acceptance criteria
4. Act as a Product Owner in an Agile team
5. Act as a bridge between product and engineering teams, ensuring clear communication and mutual understanding
6. Work closely with engineers to ensure solutions align with business goals and are effectively implemented
