• Fluent Polish and English
• Minimum 5 years of commercial Java programming experience.
• Frameworks & Tools: Strong hands-on experience with Hibernate, Spring, Spring Boot, REST API, Microservices, and Web Services.
• Build & Dependency Management: Practical knowledge of Maven.
• Messaging Systems: Good knowledge of message queues such as Kafka or Pub/Sub.
• Cloud Platforms: Understanding of cloud solutions (Google Cloud Platform preferred; Azure and AWS also relevant).
• Databases: Good knowledge of SQL.
• Version Control: Proficient with Git.
• Containerization & Orchestration: Understanding of tools like Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm — willingness to learn and grow in these technologies if not already experienced.
• Concurrency & Systems: Experience with multithreaded programming and distributed systems.
• Monitoring: Experience in application monitoring, including familiarity with tools like ELK.
• Mindset & Collaboration:

• BPM Expertise:

About the Role

We are currently looking for an experienced Senior Java Developer to join a greenfield programme for a major financial institution launching operations in the Polish market. The project includes 13 work streams (backend, frontend, UX) and follows agile methodologies (SCRUM). Your responsibilities

1. Develop robust and scalable backend services using Java and Spring Boot
2. Design and optimize database queries in PostgreSQL/MySQL
