Requirements description

  • Proactivity and taking responsibility
  • Experience in manual tests
  • Knowledge of testing standards and best practices (ISTQB, test pyramid, defect lifecycle, etc)
  • Organized work approach, compliant with established processes
  • Basic knowledge or willingness to learn test automation
  • Hands on knowledge of test management tools (Jira, Zephyr, Confluence)
  • Experience or knowledge in working with BDD/TDD approaches
  • English and Polish language on B2/C1 level
  • Communication skills and team work
  • Understanding of web applications with Frontend and microservices on the Backend
  • Familiarity with concepts or testing of synchronous integrations (REST API) and asynchronous integrations (Kafka)
  • You have experience in working in development team
  • You are based in Poland and are eligible to work in Poland (we do not support relocation or work permit/visa/prolongation process atm)
  • Hybrid model of work (min 1 a week from the office) - please apply if you are already located in Warsaw/near by

About the job

Your responsibilities

  1. Designing manual and automated test scenarios (in collaboration with analysts and developers)
  2. Performing manual and automation tests for changes implemented during the sprint, as well as during acceptance and regression testing
  3. Understanding of different levels od test automation and experience in designing them in cooperation with team
  4. Maintaining and creating quality standards – monitoring and analyzing key indicators (e.g. error response time) and collaborating with the team to maintain expected service parameters
  5. Taking care for metrics, product and process quality, proactively suggesting improvements
  6. Supporting the team in improving the testing process, implementing new tools and work standards (BDD, SBE, shift left approach)
