Requirements description

• 3+ years of Python backend development.
• Strong experience with Twitter/X API v2 and/or web scraping tools (Selenium, Playwright, snscrape).
• Proficient in building data pipelines (ETL) and working with PostgreSQL or MongoDB.
• Experience integrating third-party APIs (Dexscreener, CoinMarketCap, or similar).
• Familiarity with LLM APIs (OpenAI, Hugging Face Transformers).
• Experience with FastAPI or Flask for backend APIs.
• Knowledge of async programming (aiohttp, asyncio) for efficient API polling and web scraping.
• Good understanding of crypto ecosystems, DEXs, and Web3 wallet flows.
• Ability to write clean, modular, and scalable code.
• Strong debugging skills and proactive problem-solving.

Offer description

We are building a platform that scrapes Crypto Twitter, analyzes sentiment in real time, and turns it into automated trades through Hyperliquid’s infrastructure. The idea is to directly connect influencer calls to capital flow, capturing the edge that exists between narrative and price action. This is not theory. With the right execution, this will be a $10 million revenue business in year one. We are looking for a backend engineer who can build data ingestion pipelines, integrate LLMs for sentiment analysis, and architect the trading system that will execute orders as signals trigger. You will be responsible for the core systems that run this machine.

You will work directly with the founder, build the infrastructure, and see immediate results. Your responsibilities

1. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
2. Develop a data ingestion pipeline that monitors tweets from a list of crypto influencers (initially ~100 users).
3. Efficiently fetch tweets using Twitter API v2 (Filtered Stream or Search API).
4. Build fallback web scrapers if API limitations occur.
5. Parse and identify tweets mentioning crypto tickers ($XYZ).
6. Integrate Dexscreener/CoinMarketCap API to validate token existence and fetch price data.
