Summary: The Senior Platform Engineer is responsible for developing and enhancing software engineering platform capabilities, ensuring operational stability, and driving collaboration across engineering teams to improve software delivery.

Duration: >12 months

Location: Fully Remote

Salary: B2b contract- 35-42 euro/hour

Responsibilities:

• Implement software engineering platform capabilities through planning, architecture, designing, coding, and testing.

• Co-create software engineering capabilities with aligned engineering teams.

• Improve operational stability and reliability of the platform in collaboration with Site Reliability Engineers.

• Provide Level 3 support for platform events, problems, and incidents.

Key Requirements:

• Strong working expertise in Kubernetes or similar container orchestration technologies.

• Experience with AWS Cloud and/or Azure Cloud, especially around networking and PaaS offerings.

• Strong working experience with Crossplane and ArgoCD.

• Knowledge of Golang, Python, KCL, or similar programming languages.

• Experience with OpenTelemetry, Istio, Dapr, GitHub Actions.

• Proven background in large complex back-end systems.

• In-depth understanding of software and cloud architecture.

• Experience in security engineering and response.

• Experience in creating APIs.

• Agile/SCRUM methodology familiarity.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools.

• Strong communication skills in English.

• Proactive in knowledge sharing and establishing best practices.

• Background in mentoring team members.

• Location: Greater Copenhagen area, Denmark; ideally from Warsaw Metropolitan area for accessibility.
