Location: 3 city areas of Gdańsk, Warsaw, or Łódź

Hybrid model: 2 days a week working form the office

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled FX Systems Application Engineer to manage and enhance our foreign exchange (FX) pricing interface applications. In this role, you will ensure the reliability and performance of critical systems supporting our FX operations. This includes maintaining infrastructure across multiple environments, supporting end users, and analyzing integration opportunities across platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Support and deliver requirements for two FX pricing interface applications: 66PR and 6477.
• Maintain and upgrade infrastructure across production, development, and test environments.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues for application consumers running on HP NonStop and z/OS platforms.
• Analyze the potential integration of current systems into a midrange solution in alignment with our Swedish FX systems.
• Collaborate closely with infrastructure, support, and development teams to ensure operational stability.

Required Skills and Experience

• Solid experience with Windows Server 2019 / 2022 environments.
• Proficiency with MS SQL Server, including ODBC connections.
• Hands-on experience with C/C++ and Visual Basic 6.
• Familiarity with Bitbucket for version control.
• Experience with MQ, GfKernel, and dScreen technologies.

Nice to Have

• Knowledge of HP NonStop systems.
• Experience working with z/OS mainframe environments.
• Previous work within FX or financial systems.
