Are you a Senior Python Engineer looking for a long-term opportunity to build innovative fintech applications at scale?

We are currently hiring multiple experienced Python Developers for a leading fintech company based in Ireland, which is establishing its R&D Centre of Excellence. These are full-time roles based in Dublin. While hybrid, relocation to Ireland is required, and a relocation package is available to support your move.

About the Role

You’ll join a dynamic team working on transaction monitoring and anti-financial crime solutions within a fast-paced, agile environment. This role offers the chance to work on high-impact projects, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and influence the future of a leading fintech platform.

While the role is hybrid, candidates must be based in Ireland, with in-office presence expected once every two weeks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and build scalable, cloud-native software for fintech applications

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality features

• Contribute to a microservices architecture using modern technologies

• Drive best practices in engineering, testing, and DevOps

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience building and maintaining backend systems

• Strong Python programming skills

• Proven experience with cloud-native (SaaS) development

• Hands-on experience with AWS services: Lambda, Redshift, DynamoDB, Elasticsearch, SNS, SQS

• Understanding of modern DevOps practices (CI/CD, test automation, microservices)

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience

Nice to Have:

• DevOps/IaC experience (Kubernetes, CDK, Pulumi)

• Experience with JavaScript frameworks

• Experience with real-time systems
