Role Title: Senior Front-End Engineer – UI Systems

We are seeking a seasoned Front-End Engineer to take a leading role in designing and maintaining innovative user interface systems used across discretionary business and analytical teams. What You’ll Do

• Design, develop, and maintain advanced front-end components integrated into core internal applications

• Build new and enhance existing interfaces to meet evolving user needs, leveraging the latest UI frameworks and development methodologies

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align on architecture, usability, and performance requirements

• Optimize front-end components for scalability, responsiveness, and efficient data handling

• Implement robust test suites (unit, integration, end-to-end) to ensure quality and reliability

• Conduct code reviews, mentor junior developers, and contribute to a high-standard engineering culture

• Develop and maintain technical documentation to support onboarding and knowledge sharing

What You Bring

• 5+ years of professional experience in front-end development

• Deep expertise in TypeScript, JavaScript, and modern frameworks like React or Angular

• Experience integrating with REST APIs and version control systems like GitHub

• Strong background in Test-Driven Development (TDD), unit testing, and end-to-end testing tools (e.g., Protractor or alternatives)

• Familiar with build automation tools such as Webpack, Gulp, or similar

• Hands-on experience with UI design tools such as Figma, and component libraries like ag-Grid or Highcharts

• Solid understanding of asynchronous programming (Promises, Observables) and building reusable, modular UI components

• Strong grasp of CSS and JS for responsive design and high-performance visual rendering

• Understanding of web application infrastructure including APIs, caching, server-side logic, and deployment workflows

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to drive discussions and lead technical decisions

• A track record of ethical, high-quality engineering and a collaborative mindset
