We are Tooploox, an AI software development company offering custom AI solutions and services. We help innovative companies and startups design and build digital products with generative AI, mobile, and web technologies.

Our team, consisting of nearly 200 experts including our R&D team of over 40 engineers, many with PhDs, has pioneered AI solutions across industries like healthcare, fashion, and e-commerce. We’ve published over 15 research papers in top conferences like NeurIPS and ICML.

We are seeking a Senior Product Designer to join our team on a freelance basis and create innovative products and services powered by GenAI and other advanced AI technologies. If you have deep knowledge of UI/UX design and are passionate about building solutions that combine technology with intuitive user experiences, this role is for you.We value experience working with AI/ML and the ability to design solutions that address unique challenges like trust, transparency, and personalization.If you want to have a real impact on how users interact with the technologies of the future feel invited!

What you will do:

• Collaborate directly with clients and cross-functional teams to design products and services powered by GenAI and emerging AI technologies.

• Design both for and with AI: create user experiences that incorporate AI-driven features while leveraging AI tools to enhance the design process (e.g., AI-assisted prototyping, research synthesis).

• Lead the translation of business requirements and user research insights into intuitive, user-centric product designs.

• Create and iterate on UX flows, interaction models, and high-fidelity UI deliverables that achieve both user and business goals across web, mobile, and multi-device environments.

• Prepare specifications and design systems that align with scalable AI solutions for engineering teams.

• Conduct user research, including testing AI-powered experiences for trust, explainability, and usability.

• Build and refine interactive prototypes, experimenting with AI-based design tools and workflows.

• Advocate for responsible and ethical AI design practices and increase AI+UX maturity across the organization.

• Stay at the forefront of AI trends and proactively explore how AI advancements can create meaningful value for users.

Experience and skills you need to join us:

• 4+ years of commercial product design experience, with at least one successfully launched product.

• Strong UI and UX design expertise, with a portfolio showcasing your end-to-end design process, problem-solving approach, and measurable impact (include projects involving AI or algorithm-driven experiences if possible).

• Experience designing products that leverage AI/ML or GenAI, with an understanding of unique challenges like trust, transparency, personalization, and user control.

• Ability to co-create with AI tools (e.g., for ideation, content generation, or visual exploration) while maintaining a human-centered design approach.

• Familiarity with responsible AI design principles, such as bias mitigation, explainable AI, and ethical design frameworks.

• Experience in planning and conducting user research and workshops, including research on user interaction with AI-powered features.

• Excellent communication skills (English and Polish), with the ability to present, argue, and align design solutions with stakeholders.

• Self-driven and collaborative mindset, comfortable working with corporate clients and innovative startups alike.

It would be great if you also have:

• Experience designing and shipping AI-powered or data-driven products from concept to launch.

• Familiarity with prompt design, AI model capabilities, and human-AI interaction patterns.

• Understanding of data visualization, complex workflows, or systems thinking for AI-driven experiences.

• Curiosity for future design paradigms such as multi-modal interfaces, voice AI, or agent-based interaction
