As a Mobile QA Engineer, you will be working for our client, a global financial institution undergoing large-scale digital transformation to enhance the user experience of its mobile banking services. You will be joining an agile team dedicated to developing and maintaining high-quality mobile applications across iOS and Android platforms. Your contribution will be crucial in ensuring reliability, security, and performance through both manual and automated testing processes, directly impacting millions of customers around the world. This is a dynamic opportunity to shape future-ready banking solutions in a collaborative environment.

Your main responsibilities:

• Performing manual and automated testing on iOS and Android mobile applications

• Writing and maintaining automated test scripts using tools like Appium or Selenium

• Collaborating closely with developers, product owners, and other QA team members within a Scrum framework

• Logging, tracking, and verifying defects using tools like JIRA

• Designing test plans, test cases, and test data to validate app functionality and performance

• Analyzing and reporting test results clearly and effectively to stakeholders

• Conducting regression, functional, UI/UX, and exploratory testing across multiple devices

• Participating in sprint planning, reviews, and daily stand-up meetings

• Continuously improving testing processes and documentation

• Staying current with mobile QA trends and technologies to enhance test efficiency

You're ideal for this role if you have:

• Proven experience testing mobile applications on both iOS and Android platforms

• Solid understanding of manual and automated testing methodologies

• Programming knowledge in Java or Python for test automation

• Hands-on experience with Appium, Selenium, or similar tools

• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies

• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills

• Experience working in a Scrum team environment

• Proficiency with defect tracking systems like JIRA

• Ability to write clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and cases

• Good communication and teamwork abilities

• A degree in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent experience

It is a strong plus if you have:

• Experience testing mobile apps in the financial or fintech sector

• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and mobile build systems

• Familiarity with cloud-based testing platforms (e.g., BrowserStack, Sauce Labs)

• Exposure to performance and security testing for mobile apps
