• Model of payment: basic salary + fixed bonus (e.g., quarterly, annual) + holiday bonus

Your responsibilities

• Mechanical design of the aircraft engine parts

• Preparation of 2D and 3D technical documentation using Catia V5

• Functional dimensioning & tolerance (GD&T) definition

• Defining technical solutions (request for drawing change, process optimization)

• Recommendation and conceptual definition of the manufacturing process of the designed parts

• Functional study of the need and system integration : Detailed technical specification

• Functional verification

• Travel to other Safran entities

• Exchange with Stress engineers

• Cooperation with other engineers in development of team competences - technical support and development of junior engineers. Development of team’s Knowledge Capitalization System.

Our requirements

• Language: English, B2

• Master degree in engineering, materials and processes or similar

• Teamwork, analytical thinking, self-motivation, ‘can-do’ attitude and decision-making skills

• Ability of technical drawing interpretation

• 7+ years of engineering experience

• Part & Assembly design CATIA skills (including surface and drafting modules)

• Functional dimensioning & tolerancing (GD&T) skills

• Availability for travel

• Knowledge in manufacturing processes

• Knowledge in FEM calculations

• Experience in aerospace industry

SAFRAN AIRCRAFT ENGINES POLAND based in Sędziszów Małopolski is a leading leader in the aviation industry market and one of the most dynamically developing companies from the Aviation Valley. The factory, which has been operating since 2017 and employs over 300 people, produces turbine blades for the LEAP-1A and LEAP-1B engines.

In 2023, together with the French branch of Safran Aircraft Engines, a Research and Development Center was established in Rzeszów. Over 250 engineers will be employed here. In the newly established office, engineers will deal with various types of simulations relating to components of the entire aircraft engine.
