Position overview

We are seeking a knowledgeable and proactive Way4 Subject Matter Expert (SME) to join our Quality Assurance (QA) team. This key role will act as a bridge between QA, business stakeholders, and vendors by providing deep expertise in the Way4 card processing system and the Acquiring Payment Industry.

The SME will support the QA team by maintaining domain knowledge of the Acquiring platform, including Vendor, IPS, and Merchant requirements. Responsibilities include answering system-related questions, assisting with new feature testing, contributing to automation efforts, and maintaining QA tools. As part of a dynamic and collaborative QA team focused on quality and innovation, your Way4 expertise will be crucial to delivering high-quality service.

Responsibilities

• Support the QA team on all Way4-related queries
• Provide detailed explanations of Way4 processes, configurations, and workflows within Acquiring Platforms to ensure effective test planning and execution
• Collaborate with development, business analysis, and operations teams to clarify system requirements
• Participate in testing new features, enhancements, and fixes related to the Way4 system
• Assist in defect triage, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis for Way4 functionalities
• Document complex system behaviors and test methodologies related to Way4
• Contribute to optimizing and maintaining QA tools and frameworks for Way4 integrations
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and testing based on Way4 expertise
• Stay informed on new Way4 features and releases to assess impacts on QA strategy
• Facilitate domain knowledge sharing across the team

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience with the Way4 payment platform
• Knowledge of Visa, MasterCard, and other IPS
• Experience with programming or scripting languages such as Java or Python to support test automation and QA tooling
• Proficient in PL/SQL scripting and analysis
• Experience with Online Processing, Clearing, IPS Settlement, Merchant Settlement, and Dispute processes
• Proven skills in writing functional and system requirement documentation
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
