Obowiązki

• Strategic Responsibilities
• • Process Optimization: Develop and implement measures to increase efficiency across the entire supply chain (e.g. digitalization, automation).
• • Logistics Data Analysis: Create and evaluate KPIs (e.g. delivery times, inventory turnover, return rates) for continuous improvement.
• • Supplier Management: Select and evaluate logistics service providers and freight forwarders, including price and contract negotiations.
• • Network Optimization: Plan and implement optimized logistics networks for key target markets in Southern Europe, the Middle East, and Asia.
• • Budget Planning: Support in creating budgets and monitoring logistics costs.
• • Sustainability: Identify and implement measures to reduce CO₂ emissions and increase ecological efficiency within logistics.
• Leadership Responsibilities
• • Team Leadership: Lead and motivate the logistics team, including goal setting and performance evaluations.
• • Staff Development: Organize training and further development for logistics employees.
• • Interface Management: Collaborate closely with other departments (e.g. Sales, Purchasing, Customs) to ensure seamless process integration.
• • Change Management: Guide the team through changes and the implementation of new processes.
• • Communication: Provide regular reports to executive management on logistics strategies, risks, and successes.
• Operational Responsibilities
• • Daily Operations: Monitor smooth handling of incoming and outgoing goods as well as warehouse operations.
• • Transport Management: Organize and coordinate international transport (land, sea, air), considering delivery deadlines and target market requirements.
• • Customs Handling: Work closely with the customs team to ensure compliant export and import processes.
• • Freight Cost Control: Review freight and logistics costs for efficiency and optimization potential.
• • Problem Solving: Actively address disruptions in logistics processes (e.g. delays, shortages, damages).
• • Quality Control: Ensure adherence to standards in packaging, transport, and storage, especially for export goods.

Wymagania

• Your Skillset – As strong as our protein
• • Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or a comparable qualification.
• • Several years of experience in a leadership role within logistics, ideally with international export operations.
• • Solid knowledge of transport logistics (land, sea, air) as well as warehouse and inventory management.
• • Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle), logistics software, and MS Office (especially Excel).
• • Understanding of customs and export regulations as well as the requirements of target regions such as Southern Europe, the Middle East, and Asia.
• • Strong leadership skills, assertiveness, and the ability to motivate and develop teams.
• • Excellent analytical skills and a solution-oriented mindset.
• • Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
• • Intercultural competence and experience in working with international business partners.
