  • Support the implementation of effective countermeasures against emerging threats.
  • Contribute to reinforcing Veriff’s global fraud risk posture.
  • Maintain operational excellence and reliability across the data flows and services managed by your team.
  • Foster a team culture of accountability, experimentation, and cross-functional collaboration.

  • Prior experience in addressing fraud at scale, including developing fraud detection pipelines, deploying counter-abuse measures, or leading fraud prevention teams.
  • Familiarity with ML-driven systems and the ability to collaborate effectively with data scientists and ML engineers.
  • Strong system design skills and the judgment for pragmatic architectural decisions under real-world constraints.
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity, prioritize under risk, and frame technical investments in terms of business outcomes.
  • Proven ability to build, scale, retain, and drive strong engineering teams with a clear sense of purpose.
  • An innovative mindset with experience implementing new technologies or methodologies to enhance fraud detection capabilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with fraud prevention, security platforms, or decision engines in fintech, identity, or similar domains.
  • Proficiency in Python.
