About the Role:

We are looking for a motivated and passionate Junior FullStack Engineer to join our growing Data SelfService development team. The ideal candidate should be passionate about building clean, accessible, and user-friendly interfaces, have hands-on experience in front-end and back-end development with a strong desire to learn and grow within a collaborative environment.

As a Junior FullStack Engineer, you will work closely with Product Owner, back-end developers, and senior engineers, architect to build responsive and user-friendly web applications using React and Java technologies for the Kyriba Data Apps Team. Apart from developing and improving your software development skills, you’ll be able to get familiar with (or improve your knowledge of) other technologies, starting from Cloud Computing and ending by CI/CD pipelines. This is an excellent opportunity to kick-start your career, develop your programming skills, contribute to meaningful projects, and understand the full software development life-cycle.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Analyze requirements and propose solutions that will best ensure customer needs are met
• Work closely with Product Owners and Data Architects to ensure specifications have been correctly interpreted and translated into the product
• Establish best practices that will improve the quality and time of delivery of the new features
• Develop frameworks and/or tools that will implement and enforce these best practices
• Develop frameworks and/or tools that will enhance the monitoring and alerting capabilities of the solution
• Communicate project status regularly to Project Manager and Product Manager
• Ensure completion of operational and technical documentation prior to software release for each application or system
• Adhere to project management best practices
• Report work in JIRA

Education, Experience & Skills:

• Final-year or recently graduated student in computer science, software engineering, or related field with a focus on front-end and backend development.
• Strong proficiency in React, Javascript/Typescript, CSS/styled-components, and Figma
• Knowledge of functional react components life-cycle with hooks and state management (states and reducers)
• Knowledge of Spring Boot microservice by adding some API endPoints
• Be able to Consume RESTful APIs and handle client-side data management
• Familiarity with git, package managers (npm, yarn) and simple build tools
• High level of commitment for excellence
• Working experience in an Agile environment
• Desire to work with teams in multiple countries, across time zones
• Professional working proficiency in English
